Altor Solutions | 2023 Pack Expo
From Monday, September 11 through Wednesday, September 13, key team members Terry Moody, CEO, Ashok Ram, VP of Marketing, Mike Maender, New Business Development and Stephanie Brown, Sales Manager ventured to Las Vegas to attend the PACK EXPO, a notable event in the packaging and processing industry.
The PACK EXPO brings together over 30,000 industry professionals and is a hub for exploring the latest in cutting-edge packaging technology, processing equipment and supply chain resources. With more than 2,300 exhibitors representing over 40 industries, this event proved to provide knowledge, ideas and solutions to propel Altor forward.
Walking through the expansive expo hall, our team members experienced a multitude of product launches and expertise offered by exhibitors. From automation to food processing, every corner of the packaging and processing industry was on display.
When asked about his experience at the expo, Ashok, VP of Marketing, remarked, “It was a great opportunity to meet with the packaging community and collaborate on sustainable solutions. It was very visible that the labor shortage is driving increased automation, making the design and development of products adaptable to automation a top priority. However, the most rewarding aspect was meeting both our customers and suppliers in one place and expressing our gratitude for the valuable partnerships they bring.”
Beyond the exhibition floor, the expo featured a comprehensive program of speaker sessions and forums. These sessions were a platform for industry leaders to share their knowledge on topics such as boosting sustainability, scaling up production, saving energy, reducing waste, streamlining supply chain logistics, optimizing space, making better use of labor, maximizing brand impact, providing ease of use and increasing flexibility.
The Altor team’s engagement didn’t end at the expo hall doors. Altor hosted an Appreciation Reception after the expo on Monday, extending their gratitude to all friends and associates. This gathering provided an intimate setting for deeper conversations and networking, allowing Altor to forge stronger connections within the industry.
