Roberts Service Award Recipient 2022 | Michael Hays, ALTOR Solutions Vice President
The Roberts Service Award has been presented at this year’s EPS EXPO held at Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland.
This award honors those making an outstanding contribution as volunteers and exceptional contributions on behalf of the EPS industry. The Roberts family, who founded Plymouth Foam, An Altor Solutions Company, were longtime supporters and leaders in the EPS Association.
This year, one of our Altor Solutions leaders, Michael Hays, vice president, was recognized.
Besides being a longtime member of the EPS Industry, Michael has served on the EPS-IA Board of Directors since 2012. He chaired the Sustainability Committee from 2013-2021. In addition, he was on the Special Proposition-65 committee 2014-2016 and is currently the Chair of the Future Planning Committee.
Michael started as a janitor in an EPS factory 43 years ago. “I can tell you how appreciative I am of this award and my career.” Michael gave special thanks to his family and acknowledged the importance of EPS-IA relationships and the people in his life. “I feel I owe so much to the industry and have so many friends in the industry. So I want to say “thank you” it’s been great for me, and this organization has been great for so many people in the EPS industry. I feel lucky and blessed.”
Since 2004 Michael has been with Foam Fabricators and was instrumental in their leadership and growth. Foam Fabricators became the cornerstone of the Altor Solutions organization in 2018. Today Altor Solutions is comprised of Foam Fabricators, Polyfoam, Plymouth Foam (traditional plastics) and Rational Packaging, and RLok-S (organic options).
Please join us in congratulating Michael!
