Waves are very useful as we can guide them to accomplish very specific outcomes. Structural packaging is all about impact resistance that works to ensure safe delivery of products that are greeted by happy customers.

Industry standard is to have natural strength from top to bottom or “axial” strength. Realistically, most of the impact happens from side to side or ‘“laterally” from forklifts, clamp trucks, and typical transport shipping. So, the biggest need for improvement is improved lateral structure. 

Lateral wave energy passes through the structural packaging corner, compresses and expands, providing protection for the cargo and returns back through the wave corner.
